Two killed in crash on R50
Two people have been killed in a crash on the R50 near Delmas Road.
Two vehicles collided on Friday morning, with one overturning.
Emer-G-med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said the inclement weather contributed to the crash.
"Two people suffered fatal injuries and were declared dead on arrival of paramedics whilst two others were treated for moderate injuries and taken to a nearby hospital for further care. Six people were treated for moderate injuries and transported by ambulances to nearby hospitals for further care.
"A secondary collision occurred in the traffic backlog involving multiple vehicles.”
