Kubayi briefed the media on the battle against Covid-19 and government’s inoculation campaign on Friday.

She said government's policy states the Covid-19 vaccinations are voluntary.

“We all have freedom of choice and not one can force you to take the vaccine, not even your employer. Those who have raised concerns about employers forcing employees to take the vaccine.

“The position and policy of the government is that the vaccine is voluntary, so you make a choice based on the information we provide you to be able to say ;this is my right to take the vaccine, this is my choice to take the vaccine’. Whether you do that or not, please we urge you not to infringe on the rights of others.”
