WATCH: Security beefed up at UP
Updated | By Samkele Maseko
Security has been beefed up at the University of Pretoria following recent violent protests which saw the institution halt academy activities for several days.
Students and personnel arrived on Monday to find the photos of suspended students up at all the entrances.
Security have also been instructed not to allow these student leaders back on campus.
The situation on the main campus was calm as cars were searched and student cards scanned.
Some suspended student leaders were seen loitering around the university, but had no access to the campus.
Other said they were relieved to resume their studies.
"I guess campus is not going to be the same after this, because of the whole racism thing. I'm just praying and hoping that everyone is safe and happy," one said.
The EFF Student Command's Amla Monageng responded to his suspension...
