VIDEO: Taylor Swift has awkward reaction to award show host joke
Golden Globes host Jo Koy's joke did not sit well with the Grammy award-winning singer.
On Sunday the 7th of January 2024 the Golden Globes kicked off award season and it was quite a memorable night.

'Oppenheimer' dominated the awards and walked away with the most wins, while notable favourites 'Barbie', 'Poor Things' and shows such as 'Succession' also took home a few Golden Globes.
The show was hosted by comedian Jo Koy but it turns out a lot of his jokes throughout the night did not get him a standing ovation as expected.

Many viewers even said that they want controversial comedian and previous Golden Globe host, Ricky Gervais back to host the event.
Koy might not have done a very good job of hosting one of the biggest awards shows in the world, but more notable was the awkward moment he shared with Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift attended the awards as a nominee and was minding her own business when Koy made her the butt of one of his jokes.
In case you didn't know Swift is currently dating a very popular American football player, Travis Kelce, and has been seen at many of his most recent NFL (National Football League) games.
Because of her attendance and superstar status, the camera often focuses on her on the sideline.

This led to Jo Koy making the following joke at the Golden Globes and the camera caught Swift's pretty negative reaction:

It doesn't take a genius to notice that Taylor's face is an indication that she was not impressed.
Although Swift didn't walk away with a win, it does seem like she had a wonderful night with friends like Selena Gomez and won't let a silly joke get her down.
