Former assistants reveal what it's like to work for one of the most famous families in the world.
The Kardashians are a formidable group.

With momager Kris at the helm, the daughters have gone on to start their own businesses (some have multiple), cultivated their brands to perfection, and are living their dreams.
From Kim's Skims to Kendall's supermodel career, these ladies are BUSY.
And behind every billionaire, or millionaire, is a team that has to help keep everything together.

The Kardashians never stay in the same place for long, they have kids and businesses, which means that this group needs to have a righthand man/woman that can help run a tight ship.
Most importantly the family need to make sure that their private lives don't get sold to the highest bidder.
While most celebrities are probably considered high maintenance, you might expect a family like this to be a cut above the rest. Funnily enough, their personal assistants, whether current or former, have been able to stick it out.

What will get you fired:
It’s about being discreet and being private and learning. That’s definitely a skill set. If somebody has something that’s happening in your life at the moment and it is a private thing, then somebody [would need] to have a lot of respect for that. We obviously will go to and spare [raises voice] no expense to hold somebody accountable if that happens on our team. I don’t care how much money somebody might have ― if they have nothing. Some people think, ‘Oh, I don’t have any money, and they’re not going to sue me.’ Well, we’ll take payments. We’ll garner those wages for, you know, the next 10 years. But I just think that people don’t think. It’s a foolish thing to do.

Here's a look at the past and present of the Kardashian family assistants:
Kris Jenner and Matthew Ryan
Ryan is a special case as he was one of her former assistants and is also her current assistant.
He started working for Kris in 2013 but was "stolen" by another reality show celeb before realising he had made a mistake and returned to Kris.

Khloe Kardashian and Matthew Manhard
Matthew is her former household assistant and worked for her from January 2019 to November 2022.
And this relationship did not end well.
He filed a lawsuit after he was sidelined with an alleged knee injury and was reportedly fired. The lawsuit also claimed that he wasn't allowed to take breaks and was not paid for overtime.
It's not clear if the case has been settled.
It’s unfortunate to learn that a former employee would choose to go this route. Matthew was properly classified and compensated for his role. Toward the end of his employment, he was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time and the role eventually needed to be replaced. We will not tolerate false accusations and will prove that this is a frivolous lawsuit.
Kim Kardashian and Stephanie Shepherd
Kim and her former assistant have made many headlines in the last few years as the pair are known for being exceptionally close.
Steph started working for Kim in 2013 and was fired in 2017, which came as a shock to many who had gotten used to seeing these two by each other's side.
While many speculated as to why Steph was fired, it was actually a very emotional decision and was not done because there was bad blood.

Kourtney Kardashian and Elizabeth Muller
Elizabeth is also a former assistant but she wasn't fired, but instead promoted to Director of Business Strategy & Development for Kourtney Kardashian Barker.
Khloe Kardashian and Alexa Brenman
Alexa has been Khloe's assistant since 2015 and the two seem to have a great relationship. Alexa is the first person Khloe told about her first pregnancy.
She's even received a promotion and is also Director Of Operations at Jenner Communications.
