Another new relationship-related theory is making the rounds on the popular social platform, TikTok.

While some advice, hacks and "theories" might need to be taken with a pinch of salt, this one could have some very insightful truths.

Not too long ago, red flags were the talk of the town, since then white flags and beige flags have joined the little group of "things to look out for in your partner".

Red flags are obviously the phrase used to describe the biggest warning signs in relationships, whether they be romantic, platonic, familiar, etc.

TikTok user Anna Birmingham posted a video in which she fully explains the new 'Orange Peel Theory' that has been making the rounds, and why it might be a good metric to use when "testing" your partner.

It's all about acts of service and effort.

Watch the video to hear her full explanation to find out what orange peels have to do with all of this:

As it turns out, this "theory" is quite relatable with people in the comments saying they have divorced their partners because they always had to beg.

The chief takeaway from this "theory" is that you shouldn't always have to ask your partner, and. if you do, it's time to reevaluate.

Some even mentioned that their love language is 'orange peel theory'.

At the end. of the day it probably just boils down. to the same thing: know your loved ones care about you.
