Updated | By Mack Rapapali Nights
A man sped off after filling up his tank and handing over fake money to a petrol attendant in Meyerton.
A fuel station fell victim to a fraudster who filled up his tank and paid his R1400 bill in fake bank notes.
The CCTV footage posted on Facebook by Luis Frade shows a petrol attendant from Corgi Motors in Meyerton, approaching a silver Volkswagen Toureg without number plates at one of the filling pumps. The driver of the car can be seen handing the attendant what looks like money through his window.
The attendant looks at the money and notices that something is off, he then tries to approach the driver but the car drives off. The attendant tries to chase him, picking up something that looks like a brick and still fails to stop the car. Another man tried to join the chase but it was too late, the fraudster got away.
