The brutal murder of 21-year-old Brendin Horner shocked South Africans.

Horner was stabbed before he was found hanging from the pole.

On Tuesday morning, a group of South African farmers came together to stand up against the murder of farmers. The situation escalated when a group of disgruntled farmers broke into the cells at the courthouse premises in an effort to identify the accused.

The two suspects, Sekwetje Mahlamba and Sekola Matlaletsa have been charged with murder.

The event left many in a horrific state and Rian van Heerden weighed in.

"People take the law in their own hands. When lives are threatened - people take law in their own hands. It's not only happening in Senekal. It's happening everywhere. Look at what's happening on the Cape Flats."

"People feel like they are being ignored - and our government is not protecting anyone."

"Any violent crime against any person should outrage all."

Van Heerden mentioned that the murder of any person in this country should shock everyone - and not just certain groups.
