Former Higher Education deputy minister Mduduzi Manana showed off his luxurious lifestyle in a video clip.

Videos of former Higher Education deputy minister Mduduzi Manana's luxurious lifestyle and his glamorous house have gone viral on social media.

In the videos, Manana can be seen showing off his lifestyle.

The videos emerged on Wednesday.

After a backlash online, Manana cleared the air, saying the videos form part of a YouTube show about real estate which is set to drop in July.

"We will be offering tailor-made connoisseur services such as full interior decor, trained chef services, chauffeur, garden services and domestic services. It will be a 5-star service. We buy houses and convert them into bespoke spaces," says Manana.

In other news, Manana came to the rescue of Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams after she had a luncheon at his home in Johannesburg on Sunday.

He released a statement claiming that Ndabeni-Abrahams was there to collect personal protective equipment for students.

However, in an apology to the nation, Ndabeni-Abrahams admitted that she had contravened the lockdown regulations.

She has been placed on special leave for two months - one of which will be without pay.
