Why go horse riding when you can ride a cow?
Hannah Simpson, 18, from Invercargill in New Zealand took the internet by storm when she shared a video of herself riding a dairy cow.
In an interview with The Guardian, Hannah said that she had asked for a horse or pony for her 11th birthday, but was turned down by her parents because they could not afford it.
She decided to ‘jump’ on the next best thing, a diary cow, which she has named Lilac. The two have formed an unbreakable bond.
Hannah also mentioned in the interview that she does not plan on competing in jumping competitions or riding her precious Lilac professionally as “she’s more special than a horse, more rare”.
