29 injured in bus accident
Scores of people were injured after a bus veered off the R50 outside of Secunda this morning.
ER24 says, when their paramedics arrived on scene, they found a large bus in the middle of a field.
"Paramedics assessed the patients and found that a total of 29 patients were found on the scene, their injuries ranging from minor to moderate," says ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
Meiring adds that patients were treated for their injuries and transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
ER24 believes that heavy mist could have been contributing factor to the accident.
