Possible heavy rain in Limpopo
Updated | By Bishop Baloyi
The South African Weather Service says they are keeping an eye on heavy downpours in the northern parts of Limpopo but has yet to issue a warning.

According to the Meteorologist, Bramsby Bulo, the chance of rain is set to increase from 60% to 80% leading into the weekend.
"More heavy rain is expected in parts of Musina and Louis Trichardt. The rain is due to a combination of two systems including a surface high pressure and the tropical air from the north western parts of the country," Bulo says.
Meanwhile, traffic authorities in Limpopo have urged motorists to adhere to the rules of the road as we head into the holiday season.

Limpopo Transport spokesperson, Joshua Kwapa says motorists must ensure that their headlights are switched on, keep a safe following distance and ensure that their vehicles are road worthy.
"Check our tyres and avoid speeding," Kwapa told Jacaranda FM News.
The warning comes amid increasing traffic volumes on the province's roads as well as a string of fatal accidents.
