Sandra Bullock reacts to 'The Blind Side' backlash

Former NFL player, Michael Oher, whose life story was portrayed in the Oscar-winning movie, 'The Blind Side' with Sandra Bullock, revealed that he was never adopted by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy; and that they wanted to profit from his life.

The entertainment and sports industry has recently been rocked by allegations from Michael Oher that the story that inspired the incredibly heart-warming and successful film, was a fabrication.

Oher has said that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy never adopted him and instead misled him into signing documents that only saw them reap the profits from his life.

This included the movie, 'The Blind Side', which Oher apparently never saw a single cent from.

Since the news broke, one of the lead stars in the movie, Sandra Bullock, has also received major backlash for portraying the role of Oher's "mother", Leigh Anne Tuohy.

Bullock, who won an Oscar for her role in the film, is being told by social media users to return her Oscar, given the circumstances that have now been revealed.

Although the actress has yet to publicly address the controversy, a source close to her has spoken to British tabloids and revealed how she is feeling about the unfortunate situation:

The lead actor who played alongside Bullock, Quinton Aaron, told TMZ during an interview that while he feels it is sad to learn about the situation between Oher and the Tuohys, he is adamant in defending Bullock:

Furthermore, Bullock is not only dealing with 'The Blind Side' drama but is also mourning the recent death of her long-time partner, model Bryan Randall.
