Food waste is a massive problem all over the world and while many countries are working on ways to combat that, there is still one major contributor.

The expiration date.

Don't get us wrong, the expiration date is there for a good reason and you should generally adhere to this if you want to avoid a terrible case of food poisoning.

But have you ever considered that an expiration date is more of a guideline and less of a rule?

One British TikToker, Gavin Wren, has taken it upon himself to test the extreme limit of the food he buys and figure out whether or not you should stay away from that milk or cheese that has been standing in the back of your fridge a bit too long.
