Pauw summoned to police station

Veteran journalist and author of the controversial book The President's Keepers, Jacques Pauw, has been summoned to the Durban North police station.

The explosive book has stirred controversy since its release last month.
Pauw's lawyer, Willem de Klerk, says the journalist was told to give statement.

"We have been in contact with police from Durban North police station. They have requested a meeting with Jacques Pauw and a journalist from News24. It's not clear on what exactly is requested from the pair."
The State Security Agency and South African Revenue Services (SARS) have in the past threatened legal action against Pauw and his publishers.

The explosive political exposé alleges that President Jacob Zuma did not file his tax returns during his first term in the Presidency. The book claim that Zuma owes SARS around R63 million.
De Klerk says they are in discussions with the police to arrange a meeting between the parties.
